1. COLOR

The background is black and this material comes under the bronzite bearing gabbro group. This material comprises of feldspar with good specks of golden bronzite commonly called as galaxy or star.

2. QUALITY CONTROL

The bronzite specks could vary in size from one quarry to another quarry and could be small, medium or large. Medium size specks are considered to be of good quality. 

Special inspection:

1. Galaxies have to be uniform in size and there should not be any patches, cracks or quartz lines or galaxies lined in patches. 
2. No cloudy white patches and oil patches.
3. No white lines or black lines.

Common inspection: 

1. Slabs would be evenly polished all over with out any scratches/patches.
2. Thickness as per tolerance (+/- 1 mm for slabs and +/- 0.5 mm for tiles)
3. Allowance would be given in measurement for peripheral defects.
4. Chipping or pitting and cracks not permitted within measured area.
5. Uneven polish, brick marks and scratches not allowed. Glosso metre 95+
6. Steps due to blade and other cutting defects not permitted.

4. Cut to size: Any size can be fabricated as per customers’ requirement.
